Session Focus: Navigating Leadership Challenges in Times of Change

In an era marked by rapid change and unpredictable environments, leaders' ability to navigate uncertainty becomes crucial. This roundtable discussion focuses on transforming leadership development to meet these challenges head-on. Participants will examine strategies for enhancing leadership skills essential for managing change—including adaptability, strategic decision-making, and resilience.

Practical Toolkit: Inspired by The Problem with Change, we’ll also discuss simple, high-impact practices leaders can use to create clarity and cohesion amid uncertainty—including rituals that build team stability, communication habits that foster psychological safety, and “stability checkpoints” to ground fast-moving initiatives.

We will explore shifting paradigms in leadership training that emphasize real-time learning and the capacity to lead amidst ambiguity. Leaders from diverse organizations will share their experiences and insights on implementing development programs that help leaders not just cope, but thrive during times of transition. The session will also highlight the role of innovative technologies and methodologies in supporting continuous leadership growth.

1️⃣ How can we help leaders balance driving progress with providing needed stability—especially during uncertain transitions?

  • What have you seen work well (or not)?

2️⃣ Which types of change initiatives tend to create more noise, stress, or disengagement than value?

  • How are you helping leaders recognize this?

3️⃣ What simple leadership habits, rituals, or communication practices have you seen build team stability and resilience during times of uncertainty?

  • What tips would you share with peers?

4️⃣ Have you seen situations where intentionally focusing on stability first led to stronger innovation, adaptability, or performance?

  • What can we learn from those cases?

CLOSING INVITATION: Are you ready to reshape leadership development in your organization to better manage through change and uncertainty? Join us to gain insights and strategies that empower leaders to excel in transitional times.

This session will offer HR Talent leaders actionable insights from industry leaders on transforming rigid structures into adaptive networks that empower employees across all levels.
