Your AI Direct Report: 10 Days → 2

For nearly 25 years, the week after every Fall Conference took me 10+ days: converting slides, editing recordings, uploading photos, updating the website.

After our Oct 1 conversations on Leadership Development in the AI Flow of Work, I tried something different. I started with the outcome and split the work. Claude handled about 90% of the tasks. I handled the 10% that needed me. The 21 key takeaways, highlight videos and post-sharing slides took 2 days instead of 10.

Session takeaways from ELE's Oct 1, 2026 Fall Conference: Beyond Soft Skills & Copilots: Expertise + Human Judgment, with key points, quotes and facilitators.

In this Lab, I'll show you how. I'll open with a short walk-through, and then it's your turn.

Bring one workflow that eats your week: a recurring report, a program launch, post-event follow-up or onboarding. We'll reimagine it together.

What we'll work on together:

  • Start with the outcome: what does better look like?
  • Split the work: what needs your judgment, and what can AI carry?
  • Try it live with AI-enabled prompts and ideas from peers
  • Capture next steps on ELE's Action Planning Worksheet
  • Leave with one reimagined workflow and a 30-day path to try it

Who joins: people leaders bringing a workflow they want to reimagine.

If AI isn't changing how the work gets done, the work hasn't been reimagined yet.

What we learn in these Labs feeds In Search of Organizational Excellence, ELE's fourth book.
