Session Focus: Peers define the core reskilling challenge—what makes upskilling too complex and where to simplify.

Reskilling and upskilling have become too complex for most organizations to scale effectively.
In this ELE Innovation Sprint, we’ll explore how to make reskilling simpler, faster, and more sustainable—starting with defining the real problem.

Instead of adding more training programs, we’ll co-create a Work/Life Exchange Blueprint—a practical job-aid approach that helps employees and frontline managers take ownership of learning and growth.

Inspired by What Color Is Your Parachute? (Bolles) and Gallup’s StrengthsFinder (Buckingham), and informed by Stanford’s Design Thinking process, this sprint will help participants “teach people to fish” through action-learning design.

Together, we’ll:

  • Identify barriers that make reskilling overly complex.

  • Explore simplified frameworks that scale across teams.

  • Prototype and test a lightweight playbook any organization can use.

Join your peers in defining what “reskilling at scale” really looks like—simple, practical, and human-centered.

What’s Next
Following this initial ideation, ELE will recruit 4–6 members to participate in our first Solution Sprint—a design-thinking journey to co-create the Reskilling Playbook.

This session will offer HR Talent leaders actionable insights from industry leaders on transforming rigid structures into adaptive networks that empower employees across all levels.

ELE produces this Learning Circle: Reskilling Talent Development. ELE's Idea Exchange: Collaborate online with your peers.
