Beyond Soft Skills & Copilots: Expertise + Human Judgment

The default L&D response to AI has been to focus on teaching soft skills and rolling out Copilot training. While both matter, neither provides the fundamental reframe that this moment demands.

The stronger frame operates like a yin-yang: AI expertise on one side and human judgment on the other, each amplifying the strength of the other. AI accelerates when human judgment leads, while human judgment sharpens when AI carries routine expertise. Success requires redesigning work around this powerful combination rather than simply slapping new tools on top of legacy processes.

In this keynote, Azizeh Constantinescu and Vilson Simon challenge leaders to shift from "adding AI to what we already do" to "reimagining what we do around AI expertise and human judgment."

What happens next? This post captures our live framework. In a few days, we will update this page with the real-time breakthroughs, questions, and insights shared by our executive peers during the conference dialogue. Stay tuned!
