Cohort Signup Portal--Unlock Integrating Enterprise Skills | Mini-series

The ELE/Intrepid Skills Mini-Series is a dynamic, 4-week, semi-synchronous, cohort-based learning journey. It is designed for L&D and Talent HR Leaders (at all levels), Skills Practitioners, and their stakeholders to help them explore and co-create strategies for integrating an enterprise-wide, skills-focused approach across talent functions.

    What is the ELE/Intrepid Skills mini-series?

    This mini-series is a dynamic, 4-week, semi-synchronous, cohort-based learning journey designed for senior L&D and Talent HR Leaders. It is designed to help participants explore and co-create strategies for embedding a skills-focused approach across their entire employee lifecycle. The experience moves beyond traditional training methods and utilizes Intrepid's engaging platform to foster social, collaborative learning. It is grounded in 8 validated cohort principles and you will be able to complete each week's modules/ group discussions at your own pace.

    When will I be able to start learning during the Skills Mini-Series and what can I expect?

    The skills mini-series program will be delivered through the Intrepid platform starting on May 15th. You will receive an email with instructions on how to long into the platform earlier in the week. Once you are able to log into the system at the start of the program, you can complete training modules at your own pace each week. This provides great flexibility for busy executives and participants in different time zones around the world. Each module will also include discussion questions for participants so that you can see their takeaways, insights, and share your own learnings. Each week, a new module and discussion thread will open for the cohort to engage in.

    How do I sign up for this Skills mini-series?

    To sign up, you need to add yourself to our Skills Signup Portal Page, which is hosted as a LinkedIn Event page with the "Event link" as this FAQ page.

    After you have joined the LinkedIn event, you should email skills@ele.llc to make sure the ELE Events team has your current email address. This email is needed to create a user ID for you on Intrepid's cohort learning platform.

    How do I know my registration has been accepted for the Skills mini-series?

    Before we formally set up user ids on Intrepid's platform, Angelica Stilling and Dirk Tussing (ELE) will confirm everyone's email address.

    Early in the week of May 12, 2025, Intrepid's platform will send you a Welcome Email with the URL for the cohort. You will be prompted to create a password for your account. The mini-series will officially start on May 15th on the platform.

    We are excited to continue the important conversation about skills and the mini-series learning journey during the ELE conference on May 15.

    Who should attend this Skills mini-series?

    The mini-series is designed for senior L&D and Talent HR Leaders. More broadly, it is open to Skills Practitioners, L&D and Talent HR Leaders (all levels), and their stakeholders, such as business leaders, managers, and employees. Complimentary Access is available for Talent Leaders, specifically, it is free for Friends of ELE Talent Leaders. You are welcome to invite trusted colleagues to learn with you.

    How much time will this Skills mini-series take?

    The mini-series is a four-week program. The estimated time commitment is approximately one hour a week, totaling about 4 hours. The Semi-Synchronous nature of the program means that you can complete each module and discussion at your own pace. This provides great flexibility for busy professionals and enables collaboration across a global cohort.

    How is this semi-synchronous cohort learning experience different from other skill workshops?

    This is not typical e-learning or 1:1 coaching. It is a semi-synchronous learning journey and a collaborative, cohort journey. It emphasizes peer interaction, practical application, and ongoing reflection, with peer interaction baked in from day one. The format allows for greater participation and adaptability, helping to overcome traditional scalability challenges.

    This mini-series is designed to be fundamentally different from traditional training methods. It is explicitly stated that it is not typical e-learning or 1:1 coaching. Instead, it is a dynamic, 4-week, semi-synchronous learning journey and a collaborative, cohort journey.

    The experience moves beyond traditional training by emphasizing peer interaction, practical application, and ongoing reflection. Peer interaction is "baked in from day one", and participants are encouraged to bring their own organizational goals and challenges for collective problem-solving. This semi-synchronous model allows for greater participation and adaptability, which helps to overcome traditional scalability challenges. The mini-series is grounded in 8 validated cohort principles, which were validated with real programs, real people, and real results. By participating, you get to experience the power of cohort learning at scale on Intrepid's platform.
