Connect with fellow HR business partners (HRBPs) to sharpen your strategic consulting skills. Compare signals across organizations and work through real talent challenges together, drawing on peers’ experience across industries.

Work through the talent challenges your leaders bring you with ELE’s community—doing real work, in real time, and creating agile action plans together. Leadership development happens in the AI flow of work. Take those insights and next moves back to your leaders.

HRBP Idea Exchange | Who Helps You Think It Through?

Your leaders turn to you when the way forward isn’t clear. Where do you go with the questions you’re still working through?

You hear the employee’s concern, the manager’s frustration, and the pressure behind the leadership decision. Sometimes those signals tell different stories. A conversation with peers can give you space to explore what you’re noticing before you’re expected to recommend a next move.

A simple tool, like ELE’s Signals-to-Action Planning Worksheet or one you already use, can help you and your leaders put what you’re noticing into words. You don’t need to fill every box. What’s still unclear may be the best place to start a conversation with peers.

  • What are you hearing repeatedly that your organization hasn’t found a way to talk about?
  • When a leader asks for training, how do you explore what else might be getting in the way?
  • Which conversation with a leader are you still turning over—and what would you ask another HR business partner about it?

Leadership Development That Reads the Road
WHY SENSORS MATTER

Leadership Development That Reads the Road

A few years ago, every car needed an alert human driver. Today, self-driving cars handle busy downtown streets, sudden stops and unexpected obstacles because sensors detect signals and the car reacts.

Organizations have sensors too. HR business partners, frontline supervisors and employees notice what’s shifting long before it shows up in a report. The gap is acting on those signals while they still matter.

That’s what the ELE Execution Engine is built for:

  • Sense: Signals → Shared Signals. Surface the real talent challenges.
  • Choose: Strategic choices and risk tradeoffs, made together.
  • Try: Test opportunities live, with AI as your direct report.
  • Commit: 30/60/90-day commitments. Always learning.

Real work. Real outcomes. In 90 days.

HRBP + ELE Experiences

Meetups and conversations with the HRBP community

You hear it first: the manager running on empty, the team quietly working around a broken process, the reorg that looks fine on paper. HR business partners are the closest sensors to frontline supervisors and employees. Here, as a community, we put those early signals side by side with peers across industries. Patterns emerge that no single organization can see, and they become sharper leaders and stronger organizations.

Questions About the HRBP Community Hub

What’s happening now and how to get involved

The best HR business partners do more than keep the organization running. They see what’s coming, and leaders start asking for their read before the big calls get made.

Nobody grows into that partner alone.

This is where you do it: with peers who’ve stood where you stand, and leaders who know what great partnership feels like from the other side. Everyone here contributes. We trade tools that work, compare notes on what’s shifting, try new approaches together, and see how our organizations stack up. You give as much as you get, and leave with sharper instincts, a stronger voice, and people in your corner.

At the very beginning, which is the best time to join.

Strategic HR business partners carry more of the organization than ever, yet most professional development is aimed at whoever holds the budget. Few communities are built for this role. This one is.

The demand is already showing up. On ELE’s community-powered calendar, peers are voting for the challenges this hub exists for: leading through nonstop change, development that moves too slowly to matter, and programs that never connect.

We leave ELE gatherings with better questions, not just new answers. The first community directors are joining now, and they’ll set the tone for everyone who follows. ELE’s Individual and Team plans keep it within reach.

See what’s shaping our calendar.

It started with a conversation at ELE’s Spring Conference. Nick Allen, an HR business partner director at CNA, named what many in the role were feeling: the job had grown far more strategic, and there was no community built for the people doing it. As he compared notes with other HR leaders that day, the same story kept coming back.

Juri Sekiguchi sees that gap from the chief human resources officer’s side. The organizations she works with need HRBP teams who lead transformation, not just carry it out. In her experience, that shift takes three things at once: skill, will, and fill. That means the capability, the confidence, and the capacity to make it stick.

That’s where a simple tool earns its place. ELE’s Signals-to-Action Planning Worksheet fits a talent challenge on one page:

  • Real Work People Are Trying to Move Forward
  • From → To
  • Signals → Shared Signals
  • Strategic Choices
  • Risk / Tradeoffs
  • Opportunity Hypotheses
  • 30 / 60 / 90-Day Leadership Commitments

Most HRBPs we talk with don’t have anything like it. Use it on your own, with your leaders, or alongside peers here, and everyone sharpens everyone. Take ours as is, or shape it with us into a version that fits the people you support.

Community directors help decide which talent challenges to take on first. From there, the community moves from Listening Meetups to Design Charrettes to AI Working Labs, and you leave each one with 30/60/90-day commitments to take back to your leaders. The ELE Execution Engine is a four-step loop. Step 1, Sense, uses Listening Meetups. Step 2, Choose, uses Design Charrettes. Step 3, Try, uses AI Working Labs. Step 4, Commit, puts 30/60/90-day plans into action. Tagline: Real work. Real outcomes. In 90 days.
Community directors open doors. They connect HR business partners, spark the first conversations, and help choose which talent challenges the community takes on next.
