The Human Side of AI Reskilling—Built Together
Conference Overview & Challenge ELE member companies will tackle the toughest talent challenges with Confidence. Capability. Clarity. The conversation continues in person this May at Marquette University’s Business School in Milwaukee, where talent and line leaders will gather to move beyond incremental training and tackle the structural challenges shaping capability. How We’ll Work Together For this conference, we’ll keep keynote conversations—but replace traditional breakout presentations with small-group activities, including ✨ AI Practical Labs and Design Charrettes. Bring your laptop or iPad. We’ll be designing together in small groups to grapple with questions like:
-
Do we actually know what problem we’re solving—or are we building another program by default?
-
Is HR aiming at the wrong target, now that work has shifted from static roles to cross-matrix teams—and is the culture actually rewarding and reskilling team learning?
-
How do we test ideas in real work, instead of debating hypotheticals far from where the work actually happens?
Small-group, peer-led conversations—where strategy meets real work.
Use Cases and Small-Group Activities Small-group, peer-led conversations set the foundation for the labs and design work that follow—grounded in real organizational challenges, not abstract models. We’re curating practitioner-led work-tested cases focused on how organizations are redesigning work, learning, and capability under real business pressure—what worked, what didn’t, and what leaders would do differently. We’re working closely with ELE Team-Leader member companies and strategic partners to surface cases drawn directly from active work. Do you have a compelling use case from your organization—whether redesigning job architecture, establishing AI governance, or scaling human capability? ELE Team-Leader members are invited to recommend use cases and help shape the conversations where the real work happens.
